Soul Rotherham have been asked to do the GRAND OPENING of the newly renovated, beautiful and historic ‘Empire Theatre’ on Ship Hill in Rotherham.

The Empire has been brought back to life for the people of Rotherham as a Community Arts and Music Venue.

We are so proud and honoured to open The Empire with an all-dayer on 16th November 2025, 12pm to 10.30pm. Come listen to those memories!

We expect this to be the biggest Northern Soul event in Rotherham for well over 30 years, since Clifton Hall days. We have an amazing line up of 11 DJs as well as a Dance Competition.

We do expect it to sell out with 500 tickets available.

Again, we will be supporting our chosen charity, Rotherham Hospice

    I'm so looking forward to this all dayer, apart from it being great for the Northern Soul scene in and around Rotherham, it is also for a very deserving and worthy cause, the Rotherham Hospice, which provide a very comforting but necessary service to Rotherham Borough cancer sufferers. So it is a great way to spend an afternoon listening, dancing, enjoying the music you love, amongst friends, whilst helping others in the process. KTF and KOKO 🎶🎵💃🕺👌✊️
