About The Event
The annual Harrogate Cheltenham Club event is back! Relive the tunes and vibe of Harrogate's original soul and R&B club 1967-1969. 60's Club Soul, Motown, Stax, Classic R&B on the polished wooden dance floor of the Ripley Star Club. This iconic venue has hosted some great over the years including Georgie Fame. Steve Cropper (of Booker T& MG's), Nine below zero and many more. What an appropriate venue to host a reincarnation of the famous Cheltenham Club, which kicked local soul events off before "Northern" was "invented"!
All tunes played on OVO by original Cheltenham Club Spinner Mike Lowcock plus Ian Smith of Harrogate Northern Soul Club.
All profits after concessionary hall hire will go to the Harrogate Branch of Parkinsons UK.

Any remaining places will be sold on the door on the night. However be aware that the event has sold out in 2023 and 2024.
