Was it? It's good to see even the top DJs can appreciate quality regardless of rarity. I think this, alongside with Two Can Have A Party, are probably in the top 5 of most perfect Pop records made in America in the 60s.

I don't think it's a pricey one, as it's one of their biggest hits. As Dave said, the green & white demo is more desirable, of course. I'd say 15-20 for yours.

Cheers,

Dante

Actually everyone was playing it a year or so ago, not just Mick. You couldn't go out to a dance without hearing it at least once a night, whoever was deejaying...

There's such amazing chemistry between M & T on the record that it's almost impossible to believe that Marvin just added his voice to an existing Tammi track, and that they were not in the studio together. Same with "Two Can Have..."

I saw a stock copy in a sales box for £35.00 not so long ago and it went during the course of the evening, so you might get a little bit more than either of the D's are suggesting. But not much, and their band of valuation is probably the right one now...

Wow, didn't know they weren't in studio together. That's what Studio A makes to you, amazingly that little house in West Grand Blv. is as important as the Funk Bros or Berry Gordy...

I'm glad it was getting played, as I've said, it's hard to find such magic in a peice of plastic. I suppose, as it's been said in another thread, now is the time to sell, before it goes down again?
