Just got, BOBBY M & JEAN CARN -LET'S STAY TOGETHER, and saw it was on UK Gordy must admit to not being up on Motown or modern soul so was a bit suprised to see it, so whats the story behind the lable I guess its an 80 s thing, any more nice tracks on the lable, How many releases on it . Nice dont you think ?

when rca took over the rights of motown in 1982 they gave the gordy label its own imprint in the uk. they did this for about 5 or 6 years i think. theres lots of releases................... stone city band, debarge, el debarge, val young etc
