I would like to open it up to the floor. What experience's have you had buy'ing blind (good and bad)?

What experience's have you had buy'ing blind (good and bad)? link always check uk dealers first before you buy blind from abroad, bought a few things of e-bay for 10-20$ each, waited for ages for them to arrive and in the mean time realised that they were all on manships sale site for a similar price, but then thats only me!!

Bought something as it sounded great from description or wasn't in the Manship guide. Payed $20 for it then see it for a fiver on Anglo's list
