I won a Rose Batiste - Hit & Run off ebay on sunday and when I worked out the price it turns out I'd paid £225, so I thought hang on, I only sell it for £200, if that, why would I pay £225?

Anyway, when I looked at Bidnapper, I was meant to have put a snipe on of $238.88, but I'd actually bid $23,888.00 :D

Good job I didn't put that $23,887.00 bid on then laugh.gif

I once accidentally put a £566.00 bid (in the pre-snipe days) on a UK demo of Steppenwolf's "Move Over" , instead of £5.66, and spent the best part of three days crapping myself at the prospect of actually having to pay it. I was too frightened to get in touch with the eBayer and tell him that I'd stuffed up, so I sat and sweated it out.

In the end I won it for £4.86, but there weren't half some brown trouser moments in the lead up to the finish time, I can tell you.

Surely me and Pete are not the only ones to have done something like this?
