Was speaking to a mate I haven't spoken to in 15 yrs today about the 100 club when friends Rich Alston, Tony Reynolds, Paddy an myself first went to the nighter down there, 1987.. 23 yrs ago..

And paddy said: I remember in the queue at the 100 club Rich Alston was asked by someone "Got any gear mate?" Rich not knowing at the time what "gear" was replied "Yea i got a bag full" (speaking about his sports bag full of clothes :thumbsup:.. sheer class I had to share that.. Laughs

Along the same line(!!!!!) at Wigan about 1978 my sisters friend Bev (her first trip ) overheard a mate of mine telling me i cud get some gear from up on the balcony.-----About 2 hrs layer Bev asked me what to do with her gear??? as sh,d bought 2 pairs of Spencers and some pressings of that guy with "The Gear on the balcony"
