this man has been around for me since the cats.we had chats about the blue note label at wigan.jazz at wigan??. must have been a quiet night. (yeh there were some. do not believe it was rammed every night).over the years gary has intrduced,played,given,spoken about loads of tunes to me. gary was one of the geezers that made it plain that there was a world outside northern soul.holiman=genious.

Well said Jordi, and you're right he is'nt on SS or any other site mainly due to the fact that he dos'nt own a P.C.

However l believe if he did own one then he still would'nt be on any debate forum, he'd spend all his time searching the WWW for records.

Which leads me on to say, he mentioned lastnight a record he'd been after for years, so l did a search for it and hey presto l found a copy thats available, he was well impressed and over the moon. I am now in the process of obtaining the said record.

Won't tell you what it is, but l can guess it will be a great un.
