JIMMY LOMAX & THE VOWS-COME ON HOME-CAB

Anyone seen one for sale ?

Hi Kev thumbsup.gif

It was suddenly popular a few years ago and some people paid £100 for it at the time, but i don't think it's worth that. £50 maybe?

Can't remember how much i paid for mine, about £40 i think, but that was a couple of years ago. I'd say £40.

Thought you got yours for £25 from Dave Thorley? Sounded ace when you played it out at Move On recently :hatsoff2:.

Matt's got the pricing about right at £50 for the CAB release, was £100 a while back....well I sold a couple for £100 about 30mins after playing it out at Lifeline's first nighter at Brookfields

It's also available on the Camille label, which shouldn't cost you more than £30...be careful with this label release though as many seem poorly pressed and sound bit muffled, not all are bad as I've currently got one (my own, not for sale!) on the label that sounds fine. It's flipped with 'Remember Me' but another thing to watch is that there is also a release that has 'Remember Me' on it but doesn't have 'Come On Home' on the other side.

That's right, god my memory is like a sieve.

Worth noting that the CAB release is the original issue, the one on CAMILLE came later. If you compare the deadwax markings on the CAB and CAMILLE issues it looks like they re-used the CAB stamper/mother for the CAMILLE press (which might account for the bad sound quality on some of those due to overuse of the stamper).
