Cheers Gareth After my discovery on the B side eh Gareth - had this covered up must be 18 years ago now - absolutely brilliant but everyone knows who it is now. You're looking at about £50. Give Him Up, credited to First Generation - is it Judy Mowatt, I didn't know that...I distinctly remember buying this off Rob Messer in 1992, for the A side, played the B side and was blown away. I never told anyone who it was because I sold it and forgot who it was! Then I got another a few years ago and it all came back. (A side came out on Escort as well I think?) Yes, "She Want It" did also come out on Escort. These were two separate singles in Jamaica, I think. Judy is actually backed by the Now Generation on the record - typically the UK High Note 45 credits them as the First Generation and doesn't credit her at all. Judy also did a killer deep soul version of "Cry To Me" on Ja. Gay Feet. It came out on a couple of different 45s as a flip. On both she's credited as 'Julian' (which is supposed to be Julie Anne, but accuracy has never been the strongpoint of Jamaican record label typesetters...)
