many moons ago i used to enjoy this played on my 6" emidisc with "its too late for love" on the other side speeded up, happy days (record speeded up not me rolleyes.gif)

The first time i heard " OTA " , it was on a C90 cassette of unissued Motown tracks and was credited to The Monitors :rolleyes: .

Jimmy Ruffin's version (On The Avenue) came out on one of the Cellar Full of Motown CD's and Chris Clark's take (In The Neighbourhood) on the Chris Clark Motown collection.

I think the instrumental version is credited to R.Dean Taylor on the original acetate, prehaps he was supposed to lay a vocal over it , and it never happened ? Cheers ,Eddie
