Also a obscure Kenny Wells acetate, I cant guarentee it as being genuine but its not a carver or Dub plate and is laquered rather than pressed. £400 tune these days and no reissue to my knowledge which make this a very unique piece.

Hi Darren,

I'm confussed not that that is anything new

The ad for the Kenny Wells says its laquered but not a dubplate and that it has a dip towards the center of the disc?

Is it not a metal core acetate then?

You also say its not a carver but its not pressed?

It sounds like nothing I've ever heard of before.

Not trying to p1ss on your auction just confused.

Cheers

Hi Ged

No its not a metal core and like you say, I've never seen anything like it either. The core is a flexidisc styleplate and over laquered is the best way to describe it. Maybe someone had it cut as a one off by someone who had access to that technology when it arrived around the late 70s.

The reason I put it on ebay was I did'nt want to price it as i have no idea what its worth or what it is.

It's an interesting one thats for sure. Thanks for the clarification. Maybe I should start a thread asking if it's within the 'rules' to play it.:thumbsup:
