Diane Ducane-Better Late Than Never,is This A Crossover Record ?

hello all,have recently bought this tune cos i love it, upon listening to it it sounds like a crossover record to me, and wasnt this played at wigan ? so wigan was playing crossover before the term was invented for the soul scene ? just wandering, there again its prob not a crossover record at all but i thought i would ask in a light hearted sunday evening relaxed way,in the same vein we were dancing to 60s newies at stafford that were played before at wigan werent we ? so does the same apply there ? im prob talking b****cks but ive had a few cans so please forgive me
