hi was looking at ioffer.com dont know to much about it..

anyone on here purchased and was it a good experience??

too late now gone and done it...doh!!! did get an lp for about £200 les than it sold for on ebay

indeed ken ,see that myself, although i paid paypal so hopefully thats ok....or not!!

saying that i did a search on ioffer and see some other sellers who i know are good eggs..

so i guess there is bad and good on all these sites we get on..

One of the problems seems to be buyers receiving goods different to what they actually ordered. That's where it gets a bit iffy and someone on the paypal forum says:

"Except on ebay, where Paypal has special arrangements, you cannot file a dispute for "Not as Described". They'll only cover "Item not received" and all the seller has to do for that claim is to show that they delivered something to youWhat you should always do is pay with a credit card - that way you have extra protection."

i paid £50 so lets hope it turns out ok

ive checked the dude in question, he seems pretty honourable

and also had a seperate business (not records, pimping hustling, or fraud!)

thats been going for over 20 years......

if i get a wrong order please let it be something nice, lucy versami from sky weather, or maybe cindy crawford :thumbup:

i've bought bootleg dvds from ioffer.com, seems to be one of the main sources for out of print or never in print movies
