Tyrone Davis Just My Luck

Is it only me but this record to my ears sounds very similar to the Otis Clay record ( On My Way Home) . Can anybody shed any light on it ? Thanks Graham

Don't know the tunes, but both artists were discovered/promoted by Harold Burrage in Chicago in the 60s...

Maybe they were still friendly when the tunes were recorded and hence the similarities?
