CHARLES KNIGHT - ON MY STREET / DRIP DRIP ON MY PILLOW - KNITE LIFE 3.

Anyone know this one? It's in the book at £30 but the onlt two on Popsike, one went through as 'rare doo wop' at $327, the other went through as 'rare Northern Soul' at $116. It's a pretty decent uptempo dancer, and does indeed have a nice doo-wop track on the flip.

So - accurate price to ask anyone? This copy has "DJ" in marker pen written on it to denote the A side, probably couldn't afford to do any proper demos.

According to one of those popsike entries, it's booked at $200 in Jeff Kreiter's doo-wop guide though - so I'm guessing that side is well-known.

Had some spins during the early to mid 8Ts for sure...I remember buying a copy on the back of it being a "Tape Swappers Fave".

I would have thought heading towards three-figures now, rather than £30, on rarity alone?

About right there Mr Flynn..Had this around 85 from memory and sold it for a small sum probably..Have'nt seen one for a while though..

hi,didn't pat brady used to spin it?....last one i had about 2 years ago ...struggled to get £40 and had it for ages before it shifted.....best to sell it on ebay to the doowop collectors....ted ( n linda) had one at lifeline last year for about £30 / £50 but labels were water damaged
