Get yourself up to the STUTE - 3rd. Saturday every month. It's about 25 minutes from Stamford. In Leicestershire at ASFORDBY HILL it's on this Saturday. The place is full of nice people and Scooter-boy types. Spanner and crew...It's gaining some reputation and it's always a great atmosphere with very cheap drinks. check out the events section they'll be talking about it already.

We play (I feel) a good mix of 60's thru' 70's and beyond, old and new with the emphasis on QUALITY from OVO.

Next date Friday 8th April - Post Code PE1 4YL (easy to find in Peterborough) its also a FREE entry night!!

Andy "Grinner" Rutter is still a member I think, a good lad who'll look after you if you tell him I sent you his way

Also another night called the The Jelly Roll which attracts a few scooterists, more R&B, sixties soul and ska though rather than out and out Northern, but a good night none-the-less

Thanks for the feedback. I rember the fleet from some years ago great nights, as I recall a guy Called Dave Reed used to run it ? I used to go to the Odd fellows club in Leicester and the leisure centre in Hinkley are they still going ?

I have a video/link for the anniversary niter at the Oddfellows if anyone's intrested, 1984 I think

I will try the "Suite" as I need a fix of Northern and always had a great time in this neck of the woods, decent people, decent sounds.
