HI ALL... Just been play the great DETROIT AGO-GO That Neil put out, way back in 84, the last track on side 2, is a semi inst- TURN ON THE HEAT - THE SOULHAWKS???. I had totally forgot about this track, including any history that went with it, also I can't remember having it as a 45 back in the 70s when I was more in the no about triv?? DEFIANTLY A SUPERB TRACK THAT MUST HAVE A PROPER VOCAL?? ANYONE CAN YOU HELP!!? DAVE

Hi Dave, this turned up on a Goldmine cd credited as Popcorn and the Soul messengers, no sleeve notes or other info i'm afraid but i assume it's one of those unissued Popcorn Wylie things?

HI ALL ...And cheers for info so far. is it me, but when I look for records on Ebay with so many Bootlegs that are on Evey page, why don't somebody get the rights and release good unreleased soul, instead of flooding the market with fakes, i am aware that this is an old chestnut for some, but i think it has gone way over the top, and whoever buys them, must still believe that they have a real value? where such a record like the one in this thread would be far more acceptable by myself, if this had been put on a single back in 84 it would have kept a value and had the collect ability to it, like ERIC & THE VIKINGS still has, my other point is i am glad that i collect UK soul 45s, as i would be right pissed of if I owned the original US copy, i no theres nothing like a rare record and as such it should not matter, but it would piss me off DAVE KIL
