I recently picked up the 45 "Love slipped through my fingers"/ "I gotta get away" on JO-MAR. I understand it is one of 200 pressed up from an album track. Can anyone tell me which album it is from.?
I have Gloria Barnes' album on MAPLE, but it only has "I gotta get away" on it and is an alternate take to the single. Did she do an album on A&M under the name of Towanda Barnes. Or was "Love slipped through my fingers" from the vaults and previously unissued. Backing sounds the same as the Ohio Players version, who did the backing on her Maple album.
