going off on a tangent on your username......

were polyvelts polular with people who attended soul nights ?

aren't the soles a bit to grippy.

i've got some oberons (along with lods of other clarks originals) now which are similar but can't imigine i'd be able to dance in them.

Just noticed this, loads of people used to wear 'pollys' when I got into soul about 1980, great to dance in but needed a bit of talc to get going, but in those days no pints just gear at venues so no liquid on floor !
