So my partner who plays lot's of doo-wop, r'n'b, rock-a-billy, etc. was looking for some funkier things a he lioked some of the funk edged things i had played at our party. While at a local record shop I picked up a record called"The Mess" listened to it for 15 seconds, passed it over to him, and he promptly bougtht it for something like $15... upon hearing it out at our gig the other night I had to ask wtf was that as it was sounding great on the system. OOPS!! Happy that one of us has it, even if it's not me lol....My question is, how rare or pricy of a record is it seems sought after enough?

Wish I had been a better mate to myself!! Ha, but in reality I think the record went to the more appreciative home and the sharper eye that day and that's as it should be

Thats the best way to look at at ( refreshing to hear too ) Well done to both .

thats a great double sider he / they also did another which is equally as good and just as hard to find in my experience.
