Aged 83, he lived a long and interesting life and will be missed by many friends - especially in the music business and particularly in Detroit. I was proud to be Ernest's publisher and licensee. September 2, 201114 yr Topic started few days ago about this Paul...... As you and others say a sad day for soul music. 83 a good innings though and he leaves behind some great music which will last forever. R.I.P.

Thanks Chalky, I didn't see that because I haven't been online since Tuesday (my computer was out of action). I got an email via Ernest's daughter but I couldn't access it until today. Paul August was a bad month for bad news.
