Eli Bonaparte was a big 'disco' hit in the late 60's, don't think it was ever considered Northern but can understand why it was compiled.

Eli Bonaparte was actually someone who did have a big Northern track though - Jon Ford of You got me where you want me (UK Philips) fame

there was some strange stuff on those north of watford cds, but i ended buying them all because that was a lot of 'likeable' tracks on them.

think this is where i admit to buying ray of sunshine - chuck bedford...

at least it wasn't 'penny arcade'
