Started singing this at work today - nobody else around luckily and I am damned if I can remember who it is:

"operator, please do something for me, contact my baby, tell him Im in misery"

Current value as well please?

The lyrics don't match the song though. The lyrics you list sound familiar to me, I will try to figure it out

Tony and Tyrone - Please Operator - Atlantic £50 I would guess.

Eh £20/30 :D

Tony and Tyrone - Please Operator - Atlantic £50 I would guess.

I just listened to this, it sounds like the opposite of the lyrics posted, it's about them breaking up and hating each other and the dude asking for his dime back.

Lovely girl group underplayed dancer I play now and again, cheap as chips!

By the way, Please Operator is much rarer than you seem to think, £50 to £75 for original issue or demo. I can sell you a nice copy of The Kittens if you're still after it, the rarer DJ copy, EX, £30.
