On the recent thread that Brian Phillips started about one of his sales lists from Jan 74 I noticed he put a comment "just going big" about The Persians - I Cant Take it Anymore.

Did it go big? I never heard it way back then although 74 was my youth club time . Any of you who were there remember it getting plays, even for a short time?

It certainly (in my experience) doesnt get a look in at oldies events that hammer to death the popular records from that time (Why not?) Great record IMO

I think Brian was being 'creative' 'cos at that time there were tons of Persians and Debbie Taylors on GWP knocking around. It never took off. Some did though like Sterling Magee, Tobi Legend etc.......
