An old friend in Lincoln contacted me today and asked if i could identify a tune on youtube posted by jimima squiggle. the video is called "northern soul dance lessons", it is the first track but you only get the last 15 secs or so run out of the tune followed by congratulations baby - barbara west, the video is a group of girls and at least i male in a dance studio, i have heard this track but just can't place it thanks a lot guys (and gals) hope you can help

Clever lads, Thanks so much one and all,will now pass on the good news, it's actualy for his young son who is into the music so how cool is that, he spends his time on youtbe etc listening to northern so there is some young blood out there, once again ta much

yes kev sidra was 1st...

Mystery solved.The Capitol youtube clip is the Sidra version.A much fuller production,strings etc.If memory serves me well,the Capitol version is not as good.

Sorry got to ask.What's the walk they are doing 2.00mins in.? Is it a Stafford thing?
