I just came across the original version of the unissued Barbara McNair Motown track written by Dave Hamilton and Clarence Paul. Has anyone ever heard of Rita before? The name may well have been spelt wrongly on the tape box. Ady

Rita Doryse was a fixture on the Baltimore soul / jazz club scene from around 1963 through to the early 1970's; so I doubt she would have promo'ed a track written by two guys based in Detroit.

Thanks Brent, I didn't realise it had been out. Yes it's good but I've only heard it through the cans, getting it next week hopefully.
