I must be missing something but I can't work out how to narrow a search down to 45's.

You can search by fomat "vinyl" but there don't appear to be any subsections so you have to see all vinyl including lp's and 12". is it that right?

On the right hand side after you have searched for vinyl there is a section "more filters" under that click on "format description" then select 45's. Hope this helps.

pete , the way i have got round it is to put 45 rpm after the artists name ie

real thing 45rpm , seems to work ok for me , atb Eddy

But you have to keep going back and clicking on 7" every time you do a search right, I can't do that one search then go to the search box, put another artist in and get it to search under the same criteria?

Oh look never mind, it's all overpriced same as ebay anyway.

Yeah...pain in the backside i know! would of thought it saved your search criteria whilst on the same page!

.. gives you the page with a search box at the top (ignore) and a third of the way down another search "within filters"

try typing in another artist and you should get 45's by that artist

That still needs tweaking though Mick, I'd like to be able to just do a search for artist / format or label / format, but on the page that you linked to, a search for the word Derrick bought up not just artists but anything with the word Derrick (producers, writers etc). Just think that whole site is a bit messy.

Yes, see what you mean - As far as I can see, there is no initial search facility for Artist, Title, Label etc - so, as you say, Derrick would search Vinyl / 45's for everything - bit like eBay.

Good job you don't need to search for a group called "Ex" ... or the "The"
