HI ALL Some of you who collect UK RELEASES may also included UK covers of MOTOWN SONGS in the collection, some good ones and indeed some bad ones,
A few years ago PETE SMITH listed quite a few in his excellent mag BEATIN RYTHEM, well worth a read, as there has never been anything that comes close to it,
I have just been up the loft, and found a 1967 LP by Jackie Trent "once more with feeling" it contains no Northern big records, and has the frustrating "baby your putt-in me on" which is up-temp with to many slow breaks that ruin it, but the LP has the best female version of the 4 Tops "reach out, I'll be there"
well danceable. however, is there a 45 of this track?? DAVE
