Am I right in thinking that Sheldon always stamped the run-out groove?

Reason being that I've been digging through some boxes at home and found an Excello 45 with 'SHELDON' scratched in rather than the stamp I'm used to seeing...

I'm guessing it's an old boot, but would love to be proved wrong...

I've been looking at other Excellos I've got, some have the Sheldon stamp, some don't, but none have 'SHELDON' scratched in apart from this one...

don't ever remember seeing sheldon just scratched into anything, only the stamp. could just be one of those weird things though. i don't know if that's enough to make a "bootleg" conclusion on....
