Here are scans for the B&S issue 48, December 1970 where DG announces his plans to visit The Wheel, interestingly there were concerns about it being closed down then! I will post up the report on the actual visit soon.

Great to see the Van Dykes - Save My Love... going down a bomb at a local disco as far back as that.

I quizzed Dave about the 'Bad Motorcycle' description of me at the time. He told me it meant a 'good guy' . Funny what local coloquialisms mean!
