Back when around the time I first started going to nighters it wasnt long till I met Georgina and had the pleadsure and priveliedge to know her for a number of years.Georgie was one of your original pranksters and loved to get up to practical jokes and was a truely dedicated child of the night. She was like one of the l;ads and knew everybody on the go all the time and always smiling. Her mum and dad had a pub in Cambridge where she stayed everyone from that town who was into all nighters knew her then from the mallet club and other local soul nights..

Last seen George when she was living in Norwich and going out with Ivan miles, had some good times me ,her Keith and co then she went back to Cambridge as I van was at that time otherwise detained.I have heard since thats shes married and doing ok,I really hope so as she was and is no doubt a diamond and a one off, moulds get broken when people like her get born.Very loyal friend to many folk, remember her coming to visit me in Bedford many years ago in the days when you talked through a vent in the glassLots of folk loved Georgina I know my pal Mick Gav r.i.p bless him , really thought a lot of her and she spent a fair bit of time over the years at all nighters with him ,Glen ,etc and myself and we used to have a really good blocked up time skulking about .Bet she still turns out for soul nights etc from time to time!

But bottled it when invited to play for the 100 Club Soul Brothers v The Legendary Harboro Taverners on the occasion of celebrating my 60th year. Incidentally the Soul Brothers featuring Winston, Bob Lee and Charlie Rees won the game by some incredibly underhanded rule manipulations which would have made Simon Soussain proud.
