i am thinking of putting some l/ps on here for sale. i have only ever posted 45s weight then at post office & post first class. how much for l/ps postage& packing uk first class just for one? cheers mick

Probably not as expensive as you'd think Mik, can't give you the exact figure but it's between 3 and 4 quid for an lp with a mailer and 3 pieces of card...I think it's only about £4 to include recorded delivery

I just had an LP delivered at the weekend - was charged £3.50 1st class, came the day after it was posted and was well packed.

Just this minute posted an LP to the States (from UK) and the price was £7.88 in a mailer with card inserts, sent as 'small packet'.

hi steve whats a mailer??? dumbo me lol. when i have posted 45s in past just put cardboard in between if more that one & cardboard on outside & tape together. cheers mick

Hi Mik, a mailer is a proper mailing envelope, it's usually better to use these as they are more secure and less tempting to some dodgy post workers
