Demitrice Faire Gets Through Customs

Just got a copy of Demitrice Faire "Young girl" Turonta today, from the writer/producer.

He sent it by UPS and it got stuck in customs, they wanted to know if it was a collectors item. Aparently, if it is, you pay less import tax! Of course, I said it was! It arrived today, with nothing to pay at all! :thumbsup:

Nice to know the TAX situation, is this true? I have paid stiff penalty on a few high value items, were I have declared the value for insurance purposes. :ohmy:

Yes, he insured it for $200, but the UPS emailed me saying the customs wanted a full description before they would release it. I called the customs guys and when I told him it was a 45rpm vinyl record, he said "Is it a collectors item?" when I asked why, he said it was much cheaper! So I told him it was, and it arrived with nothing to pay! :ohmy:

$200, which,I think, is a steal. Got to be around £400 ish. If you want a copy, I think the chap MAY, have another, as he told me he had 3 copies 2 to sell, one to keep. I think I got the only seller so far.
