January 28, 201312 yr Never have a problem, but just run it through one of the free AVI to MP4 convertors 1st, using the web video or youtube settings. I'm sure the uploader is Flash based (or it used to be) so upgrading to the latest version of flash might help. I used to upload .avis but I've just been using Windows Movie Maker lately to do my youtube videos, simple, and worked fine everytime as .wmv

January 29, 201312 yr How long are the videos? 15 minute limit is set - but can be changed. 2Gb limit if uploading from web page, 20Gb if uploading from HTML5 compatible browser. The uploads do use Flash or HTML5 now, so check you have the latest version of Google Chrome as a browser and that might solve your problems.
