Well it's been nearly a year now I've been attending the local soul nights and a thoroughly enjoyable year it's been.
I'll refresh my background.
I live in Barrowford Lancs. I grew up with Punk & New Wave but always loved the Motown sounds. I decided to listen more to the Northern Soul tunes and haven't looked back and as I say last year I started to attend the local soul nights -

I've made many friends over the year and am now getting heavily into the scene. I'd really like to thank all the people who have been so friendly (no names in case I forget someone) and made me feel very welcome. I've attached a pic of me and my fiance Pauline, if you see us at any of the soul nights say hi.
