Ahead of the launch of Disco Love 3 at 2022NQ, we caught up with Million Dollar Disco's Al Kent to talk musical influences, career highlights and why the mention of 'Nu-Disco' turns him into a Grumpy Old Man.

"Once I got really into Northern Soul though the biggest thing in my life was a monthly all-nighter out in a place called Alanton where the UK's best DJs always played. So people like Mark Linton, Colin Law, Alan and Steve Walls, Jock O'Connor, Andy Dennison and the guests they booked, mainly Guy Hennigan and Kitch, were massively influential. They introduced me to so much amazing music month after month."
