"Tell It Like It Is:  a mix of vintage Gospel tunes recorded from original vinyl. Shades of Funk, Soul, R&B, and hand clapping, foot stomping, tambourine rattling traditional tunes. The set is book-ended by a couple of acapella songs, the first recorded live in a church in 1965, the final track less well documented and containing some African influences - to my ears anyway".
