Noticed the other day, when spinning two records randomly one after the other, something I had not noticed before.

 

The Fabulous Apollos - What's So Good To You (Valtone) is basically the same tune as Joan Dovalle - No Better For You (Sport).

 

The funny thing is, I only noticed this because I played the instrumental version of the Fabulous Apollos and ended up singing along with the Joan Dovalle lyrics.

 

Am I the only one who had never spotted this one? There are of course loads of Detroit tracks with same backing - different lyrics etc. etc.

joan dovalle-let me go-sport,is also the same backing but different lyrics as  abstract reality-love burns like a fire inside-sport,dont know which came first though?
