Craig W's post about quirky records got me thinking. How about tunes that are almost great northern sounds - but not quite. Might be an awful vocal, stupid lyrics, horrid guitar solo, speeds up or slows down in the middle - you get the picture - something just spoils it.

Here's record that I love the sound of but which could never be played out for obvious reasons. Written by HB Barnum, produced by the mighty David Axelrod and sounding like the bastard son of "Thumb A Ride"

David 'Man from U.N.C.L.E." McCallum - Communication.

Tons better than his album stuff - and what a last line!

Enjoy

LOU D WASHINGTON - SMOKEY -STEELTOWN

All about a fireman if my memory serves me right .Fabulous dancer though.

You underestimate the mighty D Mc Callum at your peril !

Get rid of some of the girlie vocals (not all and re-do some of there vocals) its A MONSTER WAITING !

Get D McM back in the studio to recut it and get that BARRIE UP FRONT! ITLL BE AWESOME!

Abought time he was back on the scene but this time without the SOLO MAN!

Certainly original ! Nice one Cheers for that!
