Original 1966 studio acetate only take of the Robert Bateman, Ronnie Moseley & Jimmy Wicks composition, we presume George Kerr is guiding Norma Jenkins's earth-shaking vocal through this superior meaty version.
Intro drum-roll is joined by an acute echoing girl-group chorus rolling out a vibrant path for Norma to stride through. Wow this lady can sing, pitching her expressive vocal with a controlled back-of-the-throat with sex-appeal.
Strong drum & girl-group drop down a pace in a midway break, that makes for perfect Northern Soul...
