i gave one of these to a mate recently but i was never sure if it's a boot or not, if it was a boot it was a good one but it looked too clean to be an original - how can you tell the difference?

Same deal as Bernard Williams - the reissues are from circa '74 (don't think they're boots) are plain orange but do look and sound great

first issues are red,re-issues more of an orange colour,hope that helps

Here's a scan of the original - the re-issues are plain orange and have the Harthon name written across the top Although Bernie Williams was actually first issued on an orange label most first issues are like the one here!
