Odd, rare and nice. One for those completists collecting labels & artists as such. Picked from a Radio stock in the states (not by me though), all the 45's had those inscriptions as to define the genre or category like 'R+B', R+R'... otherwise super clean both vinyl and label. Ex+
I can't find much about this Mayfield 45 anywhere on the net or from other sources. Musicwise I'm not convinced that it's has so much intrest. You'll find attached here a soundclip of the 'I've been trying' side (not from actual record). The flip side called 'If' is an UFO in the music field. Even more knowing it's a Curtis job. Well...
