If you have do posts of news or views or words that may be more suited to a more "formal" type format rather than a forum post then please use the 

news/article feature

 

It is more stand alone than a forum post which means it may work better for both the site and the poster for certain type news/article/blog type articles

 

The submit process has been improved, all you need to do is go to any article page hit the link  Submit Article/News or the via  a new post in 'news highlight forum'

 

Once  approved it will then be published as a front page news/article item 

 

 

Please note this is a member led feature, as in members do need to submit the items for consideration   

This is due to the stand alone comment system,  once posted comments can not be moved across the forum to the news feature
