That one wa slisted without SOUL or even Northern Soul in headline = less response, much lesser final price. The flipside (Deep Soul heaven) alone is worth 150 GBP ;)
January 13, 201411 yr Author Hi Marc I get what you are saying, its not on the radar if it doesnt have "Northern" or "Soul" on the listing. Though people hunting on Ebay might not have cottoned onto the fact you can save your artist/title searches in "My Ebay" and be alerted when something has been newly listed irrespective of whether it has Northern Soul or not in the title !?! Lets hope no-one reads this post!! Anyway, Ebays a funny old thing its all down to how awake you are, right time and being in the right place....in a way having the words "northern" or "soul" sometimes makes only a little difference on whether its goes for more or not..the one that sold below was back in August 2012, not that long ago and it went for £102, with the words "RARE Northern" in the title. Lot of people asleep that day i dont know, but its lucky in any case! https://collectorsfrenzy.com/details/120967348807/Freddie_Williams__RARE_Northern__Deep_Soul_45_on_Hollywood At a push I reckon i could save up another £150 and go the full hog and get a lovely pristine issue, much nicer than the demo! Though prices of records have certainly gone up since I purchased my first Soul Bowl pack back in 1978!! Edited January 14, 201411 yr by foi
