Does anyone know the story behind this?

I've read that the Mr Genius issue was released in 1963, a year later the Impala issue. I believe there was a bootleg on Mr Genius  also. How do you tell the difference?

I know some of the Dogs/Magnificent Men connection. Is there a more complete story anywhere? TIA.

I have this. I wasn't aware it was booted.

I've seen it quoted as a boot on a couple of sale lists with a different number. I have it on Mr Genius 401. The boot was quoted with a different cat no. Can't remember what.
