I recently found a mint copy of Barbara St. Clair's Teacherman 45 and I must say, I like the flip (Jeckyll and Hyde) better. I'm also not a big modern soul/crossover fan but it's definitely a cool, nice feel good sounding track. Plus, I live close to the area in Buffalo, NY. It was recorded in Clarence, NY, about 15 minutes away. This label, from my knowledge was more famous for Spyro Gyra, another Buffalo, NY product (jazz-fusion).
Anyone else with any other background on this track and/or artist? Not much on the web, other than the record commands a good chunk of change.
