For sale Sam Williams Love Slipped Through My Fingers on Tower..Ok this has Dave Wither's scratched in run out groove, as you can see from photo it has hair line crack that has not opened as only goes half way through the vinyl and lastly like most copies it plays with slight distortion and have been told in the past this is like most copies. I have played this many times and would be ideal for Dj or collector and never turns up that often..  Looking for offers over £600 and will let it run until I get what I deem as a sensible offer and will accept...Please PM me and payment via Paypal

Capitol/Tower used a plant called Rainbo in California to press their styrene releases.

 

These were notoriously bad pressings where the thin styrene is of such poor quality that it's dark grey rather than black, and really prone to scratching, cracking, cue-burn and anything else bad that can happen to a 45. 

 

The fidelity is also pretty poor. Even pristine copies of this 45 can sound muffled. 

I must have been lucky then!
