kimbo
Hi, any info on the Lamarr Label regarding The above group's recording of What More Can I Ask For. I have it on the plain pink with Bunky's Pick (I know Bunky is Bunky Shepard) and again on the multi pinky coloured one with the Lamarr down the left hand side. Is one rarer? What is the value of each. Both in excellent condition. Thanks Kimbo Link to comment Social source share
Tank
Hi Kim. Only ever seen the plain one. Not sure of true value tho? They also recorded as The Chymes on Down To Earth BTW. Cheers, Tank 1 Link to comment Social source share
Robbk
Neither is rare. I think I've seen more of the plain pink than the multi-coloured. But, as we all know, most of the records I've seen were observed by me between 1953 and 1972, and most in USA and Canada. Many were seen within o to 5 years after their release, and before some of them were melted down or lost to mold. And how many I saw in North America, including in people's collections, has no bearing upon how many found their way to The Northern Soul community in The UK. 1 Link to comment Social source share
Solution Tony Smith Posted February 26, 2015 Solution Share Posted February 26, 2015 I found boxes and boxes of unplayed copies of both in Chicago in 1990, no copies of King's Of Soul though!! 1 Link to comment Social source share
