It’s been my pleasure and I’m quite proud to say that over the many years of contributing a variety of soul music shows on radio the common theme amongst my guests was that they were all madly obsessed and passionate about soul music in whatever form it took.
Tonight’s guest was chosen specifically because he wasn’t or isn’t a typical dyed in the wool, bonafide, 100% mad collector of all things soulful.
He’s cut from a different cloth and I thought the results were very interesting.
He chose a selection of tunes that he considered as soul music with a different twist.
